INT PD meaning in a bank statement

INT PD means interest paid: interest your bank credited to your savings account or deposit. It is money in, and the line often carries the period the interest was earned for.

Other spellings

On the statements Fynora has read, the same credit appears as INT.PD, INT CR, SB INT, INTEREST CREDIT or CREDIT INTEREST, among others.

Interest you pay is different

A line about interest on a loan or on a card's EMI plan is a charge, not interest paid to you. Check whether the amount is in the credit column or the debit column.

Example lines

Made-up lines in the usual shape. Your bank's wording will differ.

  • INT.PD:01-04-2026 TO 30-06-2026Interest credited for a quarter.

How Fynora reads it

Fynora reads these credits as interest the bank paid you and files them under "Interest & Cashback", so they are not mistaken for a transfer or a refund.
